My Way of defining "Beauty"

You wanted to know why you look beautiful to me!

Inner beauty counts the most you see!

Your beauty runs the deepest in the depth of your soul

Delighting in the smallest things facing everything in stride

This is what makes you special that beauty from deep inside

Balancing both work and life, taking time to smell the flowers

You delight those around you flowing joy out by the hour

Showing others that you care nurturing their hearts and souls

Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder.

It's not only what is below but, inside the mind and above the shoulder

Something that's your own and one of a kind.

You project what you think, feel and speak.

Your actions show, you're not weak.

How can I show you that you are beautiful

When your beauty is just too much and leaves me lost for words

Choking on every thought while trying to explain something so clear

that it is written all over your face.

No I can't show you that you're beautiful

No matter how hard I try, but I'll whisper it to you every night

As you drift off to sleep and hope that one morning

You’ll wake up with eyes wide open and see yourself as I do

A perfect diamond, a stunning reflection and a ray of sun

Piercing my own darkness taking the clouds away

This is why you are so beautiful to me!
